Welcome to Arts Fifth Avenue (A5A) in Fort Worth, TX ...where the arts are alive, waiting for you to discover, experience, and express at our eclectic neighborhood arts center. We offer professional performances and festivals featuring drama, music, visual arts, dance, and more...in every style, from every era, from around the neighborhood and around the world. Located at the corner of 5th Avenue and West Allen Avenue in the Fairmount Southside Historic District of Fort Worth, we invite you to enjoy a variety of classes in the performing and visual arts for ages 3 years to adult. A5A was incorporated and received its 501c3 designation in 1992. Our Mission is to provide a forum of expression for dancers, choreographers, musicians, composers, and visual and performing artists; and to stimulate, develop and preserve interest in Tap dance and Jazz music and to educate the public, particuarly youth, about these uniquely American art forms. We are the home of LAFEET TAP ENSEMBLE and HARDSOLES, our adult & youth tap companies who share their love & performance of Tap, a uniquely American dance form, with the community; and the 5th AVENUE HI-NOTES, a vocal chorus who sing just for the sheer joy of it and will sing for any occasion.
