About this image

Resonance Jazz, a one-of-a-kind Bay Area jazz octet, performs a rich composite of original standards from Duke Ellington to George Gershwin and Keith Jarrett, marrying the sounds of this unusual orchestration with violin, viola, flute/vocals, cello, sax, double bass, drums and piano. Bandleader Steve McQuarry introduces his new jazz originals along with arrangements of tunes by Brubeck, Gershwin, and pop tunes by Fleetwood Mac and Roberta Flack for this concert’s “Jazz for All” theme.
